Set in a 1904 historic saloon, we’re where locals, newcomers, and travelers come together for honest food, strong pours, and good company.
At The Ugly Pony, we’re a bar that serves incredible food, not a restaurant that happens to pour drinks. Our kitchen doesn’t rely on big white trucks filled with prepackaged or pre-cooked ingredients — every dish starts from scratch, made to order, with hand-selected local products and fresh prep that happens in real time. Nothing here is reheated, mass-cooked, or waiting in a warmer.
We treat cooking the same way we treat cocktails: you can take the shortcut, or you can do it right. Some places mix from a bag and call it good; we build each drink the proper way — step by step, by hand, with care and craft. The same goes for our food. From trimming fresh chicken for Hank’s Hot Fried Chicken to hand-rolling smashburger balls from Colorado Angus chuck, every plate and pour is made with intention.
